"I know these people and I know they will do the right thing.  You can choose  other candidates on the website so there will be a "bench" of candidates from our side if someone resigns but vote for these people first.  As I have said before, people on the slate I ran on in good faith LAST TIME turned out to be opposed to Alan Minsky!  I know Sabina is not on our slate but she should be.  She was asked by the other slate first so in their "infinite wisdom" decided to keep her off our slate. She only joined because the other slate asked her first.  I actually called and asked her to run!"

KPFK has been a prominent news source for quite some time.  It has provided programming all over the spectrum from local politics, to performing arts, all the way out to international affairs.  But all of their programming aims for the same goal:  To diversify the community's culture, it's approach to conflicts and give them the ability to gather factual evidence and critically analyze the information.  This will hopefully provide the tools for all people to interpret information more wholistically.  We suffer from a widespread ignorance among the general public that needs to be filled in to create a catalyst for a more understanding community.  But KPFK needs great minds behind the logo in order to achieve that, and through the current KPFK Local Station Board Elections, we can really make a difference.
